We have wonderful parents and community members, and they are always welcome at our school. Any assistance provided for the good of our students, teachers, and staff is greatly appreciated.
A volunteer form is sent home at the beginning of each school year. This is where you can tell us when you might be available and what kinds of jobs you would like to help with along with your current contact information. Jobs can be a one time event like helping with textbook distribution or the book fair. It could also be an ongoing volunteer job such as helping a teacher that sponsors a club. We always need volunteers for lunchtime supervision.
In order to volunteer at Challenger, you need to complete a Volunteer Application form which can be picked up in the front office or email Tania Verdugo, admin assistant, at [email protected]. These forms must be completed every year.
We also have an amazing PTO group at Challenger that is open to parents, guardians, and staff.
The committees listed below also need volunteers to help make decisions about student learning.
English Language Learner Committee (ELAC)
School Site Committee (SSC)
Site Governance Team (SGT)
Come join us, and find out why Challenger is such a top-notch middle school!
