The Eric Paredes Save A Life Foundation is hosting a free youth heart screening for ages 12 to 25 at Mission Bay High School on Sunday, October 25. Walk-ins are welcome but registration secures your spot. Register at this link. Please be sure to read for complete instructions including on what to expect and what to wear.
Event includes a cardiac risk assessment, ECG, consultation with a physician and if indicated, a limited echocardiogram. Typically takes less than an hour. You will register for an appointment window.
A screening packet must be completed. If you do not have access to a printer, copies of the packet are available at the screening.
Parents of youth under 18 need not attend if youth brings a signed/completed screening packet with contact information included.
Participants with pre-existing heart problems and/or being treated by a cardiologist or have a pending appointment are not eligible to participate.
