Before and After School Supervision is Limited

Before and After School Supervision is Limited
Before and After School Supervision

There is limited before and after school supervision for students.

Before School: Students should not arrive to school before the gates open at 7:55 AM.  Students can wait in the Shuttle Court at that time.  Once a bell rings at 8:00 AM, students can go into the campus to get breakfast and to wait outside their classrooms.  All students should be in their seats at 8:15 AM.

After School: All students are expected to be off campus at 2:10 PM on Monday or 3:10 PM Tuesday-Friday when supervision ends.  The only students who may remain on campus are those students under adult supervision.  This would include visiting the library, tutoring with a teacher, attending a club meeting, or participating in PrimeTime.

Students who must wait for their ride home past 2:10 PM on Mondays and 3:10 PM Tuesday-Friday are expected to wait in the library and then come to the front of the school at the expected time to meet their ride.  The library is open until 4:10 PM, Monday-Friday.

The library is open for student until 4:10 PM, Monday-Friday. The library is a quiet place where students can begin their homework and complete assignments as they wait for their ride home.  The expectations in the library after school are the following:

  • Students are there for tutoring or to work quietly.
  • No cell phones unless student is quickly communicating with a parent.
  • Use quiet voices.
  • Anyone being disruptive will be asked to leave.
