Bell Schedule
Health and Safety Procedures
- Students are required to wear masks or face coverings that will fit snug and cover the nose, mouth and extend to the chin.
- Bandanas and gaiters are not allowed.
- The district created a ClearPass Job Aid to help students navigate the ClearPass process
- We have created a QR code for easy access directly to ClearPass
- Students are required to be at least 5 feet from one another at all times.
Student Attendance Procedures
- Families should follow the same attendance procedures as in previous years and must notify the attendance office when their child is not able to participate in onsite or online learning on any given school day.
- Please report absences and anything attendance related via email to Mrs. Maria Pimentel-Yap at mpimentel-yap@sandi.net
- Students who are late to school, must sign in at the attendance office window.
- Students who need to leave school early on a blue slip must bring in a note signed by the parent to the attendance office window to pick up a blue slip before school starts. Parent may also email Mrs. Maria Pimentel-Yap at mpimentel-yap@sandi.net the night before the appointment.
Daily Procedures for Students
- Students are required to wear masks or face coverings that will fit snug and cover the nose, mouth and extend to the chin.
- Bandanas and gaiters are not allowed.
- Daily Self-Screening (see section above)
- Charged computer
- If a student does not have one, a computer will be issued to them at school.
- Water fountains are deactivated, but water bottle filling stations are operational.
- Writing Utensils and Paper
- Any sharing of school supplies is strongly discouraged.
- Doors and windows will be open for air circulation.
- Campus Map
- Students will present daily self-screening (either paper form or ClearPass App confirmation on phone) to staff and enter through the designated gate:
- Bike Rack Gate (may be closed at times due to construction)
- Counseling Gate
- Auditorium Gate
- Gates are expected to be opened by 8:00 a.m. Monday - Thursday. After entry, students will walk directly to the Shuttle Court.
- Students will wash their hands at the hand washing stations or use hand sanitizer upon entry to the campus.
- Students will start walking to their classes at 8:15 am.
- The current bell schedule indicates a passing period of 9 minutes. There will be a two minute warning bell before students should be seated in their classrooms.
- Before leaving class, students will wipe down their area with a baby wipe.
- Walkways have been temporarily modified to encourage students to follow traffic rules of staying to the right and stairwells have been temporarily modified to be one way.
- Staff will be out and about during Passing Periods to remind students to adhere to the health and safety guidelines.
- Bathrooms have been temporarily modified to ensure health and safety guidelines are being observed.
- Students are encouraged to monitor the number of individuals in the restroom so as to safely maintain distance at all times.
- Students may take a Grab and Go Lunch from the lunch carts located in front of the Main Office as they leave campus.
- Students who attend PrimeTime or have pre-arranged tutoring scheduled with a staff member will eat on campus in the lunch court. We will be offering hot lunch options for students or they may bring their own.
- Students will exit the campus using the same entrance gates:
- Bike Rack Gate (may be closed at times due to construction)
- Counseling Gate
- Audiortrum Gate
- Supervision will be provided in front of the school from 12:30-12:45.
